How the season works
1. Tell us about the house
Send photos through our AI mockup studio or book a walkthrough. Either way you get real linear footage and a fixed price — no guessing, no bulb-counting on your end.
2. See it lit before you buy
We render your actual home with the display you picked so you can compare warm white against red-and-white, or gutter line only against gutters plus peaks, before a single clip is cut.
3. We cut your set to fit
Every strand is measured and cut for your specific rooflines, so bulbs land at even spacing with no dark gaps at the corners and no bunched-up excess at the downspouts.
4. Install week, on a promised date
Crews run from late October through early December by neighborhood. You get a date, a two-hour arrival window, and a text when we are on the way.
5. Season-long service, then a clean takedown
If a run goes dark, we fix it. In January we pull everything down, remove every clip, and store the set labeled with your address for next year.
Why homeowners hire this out
Ladder falls spike every December, and Central Ohio adds ice to steep two- and three-story elevations. Beyond safety, retail light strands are cut in fixed lengths — which is why do-it-yourself rooflines end with a dark gap on one side and a doubled-up bunch on the other.
A professional set is measured, cut and socketed for your specific gutter runs, powered on a single timed circuit, and backed by someone who comes back out when a bulb fails on December 22nd. That is the difference people are actually paying for.

Christmas light installation FAQ
- How much does professional Christmas light installation cost?
- Most Central Ohio homes land between $850 and $2,600 for a full first-season install. Roofline work runs about $9 per linear foot in C9 bulbs, and add-ons like wrapped trees or lit garland are priced individually. Every quote is all-inclusive: lights, install, in-season service, takedown and storage.
- Do I own the lights or are they rented?
- Your set is custom-cut for your home and stays assigned to your address year after year. First season covers the materials; renewal seasons cost less because the set already exists.
- Will the installation damage my roof or gutters?
- No. We attach with removable plastic clips designed for shingles, gutters and shakes. Nothing is nailed, stapled or screwed, and on slate or tile we use non-penetrating alternatives.
- When should I book?
- August through October is ideal. Install calendars for Dublin, Powell, New Albany and Upper Arlington usually fill by early November, and December requests are handled only as openings appear.
- Do you install lights I already own?
- We do not. Store-bought strands fail mid-season and cannot be guaranteed, and our service promise depends on knowing exactly what is on the house.
