Mature maples, ornamental pears and evergreens wrapped strand-by-strand for the single highest-impact element of any display.
Tree wrapping is measured in feet of strand, not hours. A mature maple trunk wrapped to the first branch division takes 300-600 feet of mini lights; a full canopy wrap can exceed 2,000 feet. We quote by the tree and by the height you want reached so there are no surprises.
Spacing is what makes wrapping look professional. We hold a consistent two-to-three-inch pitch on trunks and step it out as branches taper, which reads as an even glow from the street instead of a spiral. Strands are secured without girdling so the tree is not harmed as it moves in winter wind.
For evergreens we typically net or drape rather than wrap, preserving the natural shape while filling the silhouette with light.

Common questions
- Will wrapping hurt my tree?
- No. Strands are attached loosely with room for winter movement and are removed each January, so nothing girdles the trunk or restricts growth.
- How high can you wrap?
- Ladder work reaches roughly 20 feet; with a bucket truck we regularly wrap canopies at 40-60 feet on commercial and HOA properties.
- Mini lights or larger bulbs on trees?
- Mini LEDs give the dense, sparkling wrap most clients picture. C7 or C9 bulbs suit long horizontal branch runs and large-scale commercial trees viewed from a distance.
