Christmas Light Removal & Takedown

Scheduled removal in January — every clip, cord and stake off the property, with nothing left behind.

Takedown is scheduled before the season starts, so you always know your date. Most residential removals happen between January 2 and the end of February, weather permitting, and require no one to be home.

We remove every strand, clip, stake, timer and extension run — the parts most homeowners find in the gutter the following spring. Each roofline and bed is inspected before we leave and any dislodged gutter hardware is reset.

Strands are then returned to our shop, tested, repaired and inventoried against your property so next season's install goes up faster.

Common questions

When are lights removed?
Removals begin January 2 and run through February, scheduled by route and weather. You receive your window in advance and do not need to be present.
What if there is snow or ice on the roof?
Safety first — we reschedule roof work during icy conditions and complete ground-level items first. Delays cost you nothing.
Do you remove displays you did not install?
Yes, as a standalone service when our schedule allows. Pricing depends on the size and condition of the existing display.
