What Central Ohio homeowners are asking for this season — and which trends are worth the investment.
Permanent architectural lighting
Track-mounted RGBW fixtures installed once into the roofline are the fastest-growing request we see. They are nearly invisible by day, produce warm white accent light year-round, and switch to full color for holidays from an app — no annual install, no ladders.
Oversized greenery
Scale is up sharply. Where a 24-inch wreath used to be standard, 36- to 48-inch wreaths on the front elevation and thick lit garland with hand-tied velvet bows are now the norm on larger homes.
Monochrome discipline
Multicolor is holding steady for family homes, but the premium look continues to be strict warm white monochrome across roofline, greenery and trees — one temperature, no exceptions.
Layering instead of adding
The clearest shift over the last three seasons: budget moving away from inflatables and yard figures toward layered light — roofline plus wrapped trees plus landscape uplighting. It looks more expensive because it creates depth rather than clutter.
